A logging truck has gotten stuck under the Lorne Street underpass in downtown Kamloops, leading to some traffic delays near City Hall.
Police, firefighters, City staff, as well as Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement officers are all on scene working to clean up the incident, though there is no word yet on how long it will take.
People are being told to avoid the area as traffic is crawling by on Lansdowne Street and on West Victoria Street right now.
There no word yet if there has been any damage to the bridge.
A woman at the scene told NL News she heard the truck hit the bridge, noting the driver tried to keep going forward until he got stuck even more.
It is the second time in three years that a logging truck got stuck at that location.
