Police are investigating a shooting death in the southern Cariboo from Tuesday night.

Mounties were called to part of the industrial park in 100 Mile House that night after reports of gunshots being heard. When RCMP arrived, a person was found dead. The death is now being deemed a homicide.

There’s currently no suspect in custody and a motive for the shooting is unclear.

No other details have been provided by police, including any sort of details on the victim, but police are asking anyone with information to call 100 Mile House RCMP.
