Kamloops RCMP say a call about a suspected intoxicated driver on Wednesday evening led to the seizure of approximately 90 grams of suspected crystal meth, weapons, and ammunition.
Spokesperson Const. Crystal Evleyn says officers were called to a parking lot on the 700-block of Fortune Drive around 7:12 p.m. on Oct. 27.
“Upon approaching the vehicle described, police noted bear spray and a folding saw,” she said, in a statement. “Further investigation revealed a firearm magazine with ammo inside and a quantity of suspected crystal meth.”
The driver of the vehicle was arrested and later released pending the conclusion of the investigation and subsequent charge assessment.
