
The Kamloops Local Health Area saw a decline to 131 cases between the week of Oct. 24 and Oct. 30.
While it is only a small decrease from the 145 cases reported during the week of Oct. 17 to 23, it puts Kamloops back at an average daily rate of between 10.1 and 15 cases per 100,000 people.
Elsewhere in the Interior, cases in the Central Okanagan (Kelowna) were down by 36 to 121 while the Enderby also saw a notable decrease of 24 cases to just nine.
Around the Kamloops care, there were nine new cases in Merritt (up from seven), 66 in Vernon down from 69), 56 in the Cariboo/Chilcotin (up from 52), 43 in Salmon Arm (down from 47), nine in 100 Mile House (up from three), eight in Lillooet (up from five), and four each in South Cariboo (up from zero) and in the North Thompson (down from five).
Transmission remains high in Northern Health as well as in the Abbotsford and Chilliwack area in Fraser Health.
