Kamloops RCMP are looking for witnesses after a stabbing on Monday evening sent a man to Royal Inland Hospital with injuries to his hand and chest.

Officers were called to the 700-block of Victoria St. around 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 24 to assist BC Ambulance paramedics.

Const. Crystal Evelyn says the man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

“The man refused to provide a statement, but told police the incident occurred in an alley nearby,” she said.
