The Kamloops Blazers have signed defenseman Harrison Brunicke to a standard WHL player agreement.
The Calgary native was a third round pick of the Blazers in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft last December.
Brunicke put up 17 points (six goals and 11 assists) in 29 games with the Calgary Royals of the Alberta Elite Hockey League U-18 program. He also had two assists in five games as part of Team Alberta at the WHL Cup in October 2021 in Red Deer.
“We are excited to welcome Harrison and his family to the Blazers organization,” Blazers Head Coach and General Manager, Shaun Clouston said.
“We look forward to watching Harrison grow and develop over the coming years in Kamloops.”
The six-foot-two Brunicke joins forward Ashton Tait and goaltender Jesse Sanche as 2006-born players signed by the Blazers.
