One person is dead after a crash between a logging truck and a passenger vehicle east of Barriere this morning.

BC Highway Patrol spokesperson, Cpl. Mike Halskov, tells NL News the crash happened around 6:40 a.m. on Agate Bay Road, near Heffley Louis Creek Road, a few kilometres east of the Yellowhead Highway.

There aren’t many other details available at this time – including what might have caused it – but Halskov says police are still investigating the crash.
