Kamloops Fire and Rescue says to not be alarmed if you smoke in the Juniper Ridge area today.
In a tweet, they say there will be a “noticeable” amount of smoke in the area because of a prescribed burn that is taking place today, March 15.
“Please don’t be alarmed,” the tweet said.
Residents in the area have been on edge given the fire in Juniper on July 1, 2021, which forced the evacuation of the entire neighbourhood.
