An Argo Road Maintenance driver was injured after a truck was hit on Highway 1 in Kamloops.

The company did not specify where the crash took place, but said the truck that was hit was alerting vehicles to the sweeper working ahead.

“We urge all motorists to pay attention to the road,” the tweet said. “Distracted driving puts us all at risk.”

“It is a scary reminder of how important it is to be alert, especially when driving through a cone zone.”
