Kamloops RCMP say they arrested a suspect involved in a triple-stabbing on the North Shore this past Saturday.
Police were called to the Rockin’ Firkin Pub in the 700-block of Sydney Avenue around 12:20 a.m., March 12. There they say they found two women and a man who were treated in hospital before being released.
RCMP believe two women began fighting inside the pub before moving outside, where a woman allegedly stabbed the other woman, her companion, and a bystander who tried to break it up.
“The release included an image of a female suspect, as well as a man with a white truck who police were looking to speak with,” RCMP spokesperson, Const. Crystal Evelyn, said Thursday.
“Since then, both have been identified. A woman was arrested and released with conditions, pending the investigation’s conclusion and subsequent charge recommendation approval process.”
Police have not identified the either person, but they are urging anyone with information about the incident to still reach out to the detachment at 250-828-3000 and referencing file number 2022-7806.
