UPDATE – There were major delays on the Coquihalla near the Inks Lake brake check this morning, just south of Kamloops.
Callers to the NL Newsroom said there were semis in the ditch as the highway was “completely covered in ice” this morning.
Drive BC says a jack knifed semi was affecting traffic in both directions at the Timber Lake Forest Service Road. Earlier in the day, Drive BC issued a notice to drivers to watch for slippery sections between the Surrey Lake Summit and Kamloops.
Drivers were being told to consider using an alternate route this morning.
