A familiar face will be on the ballot this October for a seat on Kamloops City Council.
Former councilor Nancy Bepple has announced her intention to run again.
She says her priorities include housing, livability, climate resilience and strengthening the community.
“Now is the time for some fresh ideas,” Bepple told NL News. “And I want to bring those ideas to the table and help Kamloops become a better place to live.”
Nancy Bepple was first elected to city council in 2008, and re-elected in 2011.
However, she stepped down in her 2nd term due to health concerns.
Bepple becomes the first non-incumbent to announce plans for a council run in October.
Bepple also ran as a provincial NDP candidate in the 2017 election losing to BC Liberal Todd Stone.
