If you’re heading to or from the Lower Mainland tonight, be prepared for snow.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the entire Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Kamloops as well as the Okanagan Connector from Merritt to Kelowna.
It says up to 10 cm of snow could fall on Southern Interior mountain passes tonight through to Friday morning.
“Snow is likely as a trough of low pressure moves across B.C. tonight,” a statement from Environment Canada said. “Snow levels will lower to near 900 metres tonight before rising again on Friday. Occasionally heavy snow may reduce visibility, so be prepared for winter driving conditions.”
Special weather statements have also been issued on Highway 3 from Hope to Princeton, and again from Paulson Summit to Kootenay Pass.
You’ll find the latest on the road conditions at Drive BC.
