Police in Kamloops are looking for witnesses after an armed robbery on the North Shore Sunday night.
RCMP say they responded to the 300-block of Tranquille Road around 10 p.m. last night, May 29, after a man with a firearm allegedly walked into a store and demanded cash and products.
“Afterwards, the man walked northbound on Tranquille Road with two green bags and the firearm in hand,” Const. Crystal Evelyn, said. “We’re hoping someone saw something or captured an image that can help police further the investigation.”
Evelyn says RCMP officers and the police dog team were not able to locate a suspect, who is described a white man in his 30s, standing approximately six-foot-one with thick brown eyebrows.
He was wearing a black hoody with a white shirt hanging out the bottom and a green baseball cap at the time. Police also say the man had a ski mask, blue or grey pants, and camo gloves.
The man is also believed to be associated to a dark sedan that was parked nearby while the robbery was taking place.
Anyone who witnessed, has security or dash cam footage, or information related to this robbery is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2022-18033.
