Kamloops RCMP are looking for help from the public to identify an individual believed to be involved in a robbery last week.
Officers were called to the 700 block of Fortune Drive at roughly 7:40 p.m. on May 27, where a woman was allegedly approached in the parking lot by someone who threatened her and demanded money.
“Surveillance in the area captured an image of the suspect, which police are releasing to help identify the person and further the investigation,” said Constable Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson.
The suspect is believed to be a 40-year-old Caucasian person who was wearing blue jeans with paint smudges on the front thighs, green shoes and a plaid button up shirt, at the time of the robbery.
Mounties say the suspect was also wearing sunglasses and a black toque on top of a blue bandana that had red flowers underneath.
The suspect also had a black shoulder bag at the time of the incident.
If you are or recognize the suspect, or have more information related to this investigation, please contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.
