Tk’emlúps Rural RCMP say a motorcyclist was killed in a crash on the Pinantan Pritchard Road near Paul Lake Provincial Park, northeast of Kamloops.

Police say they were called to the area near Ojibway Road just before noon today, June 1, to reports that a motorcycle had collided with a vehicle.

They say the motorcyclist was pronounced dead on scene.

Const. Crystal Evelyn is asking drivers to avoid the area as the road is closed to traffic to allow police and the BC Coroners Service to investigate.
