
Six people were taken to hospital after a three-vehicle collision on the Trans Canada Highway near First Nations Road in Salmon Arm.
In an email to NL News, BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) said four of those patients were in a critical condition, one was in a stable condition, with the other had minor injuries.
Paramedics say were called to the scene around 5 p.m. July 11.
While Drive BC reported a vehicle incident around 5:20 pm, it noted the highway between Second Nations Road and Sandy Point Road wasn’t fully closed until about 6:55 p.m.
The highway reopened in both directions just after 8 p.m.
