With rural politics in his blood, Doug Haughton is hoping to serve the residents of Area L on the TNRD Board.
A lifelong resident of the Knutsford area, he sold John Deere tractors for 39 years, but retired to focus on working on the family farm.
Doug has been on various agricultural and 4H boards over the years and now wants to look after the issues in my backyard.
Among the issues he wants to tackle is helping residents of Monte Lake, Paxton Valley, and Westwold after the devastating White Rock Lake wildfire last year.
This will be his first attempt at public office.
