With the Memorial Cup coming to Kamloops, Radio NL is pleased to announce we’ve got a new addition to our programming line-up!

Jon Keen’s “The Blaze with Jon Keen & Friends” will provide in-depth, weekly coverage of all-things connected to the Kamloops Blazers and beyond.

Airing Thursday evenings at 6pm, and then again on Sunday’s at 4pm, “Keener” will keep us up to date on everything that’s happening with the team, including exclusive interviews with players, coaches and observers throughout the WHL season and into the Memorial Cup.

“I think it’s an important year and there’s extra attention on the team right now in a Memorial Cup season. Fans can’t seem to get enough information right now on the team and the WHL,” said Keen. “We hope to fill the void with special guests, opinion, questions from listeners and anything else we can dig up. Early feedback has been great and it should be a fun project.”

On top of airing on Radio NL, “The Blaze with Jon Keen & Friends” will also be available where ever you listen to your favorite podcasts.

With ‘The Blaze’ coming to the airwaves, we have also adjusted our programming.

BC Food and Wine, which had lived in the 6pm to 7pm slot for the last few years, will now be moving to Sunday evenings at 7pm.

But if you miss it then, don’t worry.

BC Food and Wine will also be airing again on Monday evenings at 6pm.

All the other programming you enjoy on the weekends and the weekdays will remain with us, though times have also been adjusted.
