A sight to behold on Columbia Street in downtown Kamloops.
A tractor-trailer has caused damage to a number of properties and vehicles along the stretch between 12th and 13th Streets.
RCMP say it happened around 4:20 Tuesday morning, after the driver apparently lost control while heading westbound down Columbia.
The truck — carrying other vehicles — ended up in the front-yard of someone’s home.
Mounties say the driver of the vehicle tried to bolt after the crash but was found by officers a short time later.
A criminal investigation is getting underway.
No word on what may have caused the driver to lose control.
“Miraculously, no one was injured despite the damage that occurred in the area,” said Corporal Crystal Evelyn with Kamloops RCMP.
Mounties are asking for any witnesses or anyone with video footage to come forward.
