Logan Stankoven had a goal and two assists as the Kamloops Blazers beat the Vancouver Giants 4-1 in Langley Friday night.
Fraser Minten opened the scoring for the visitors on the powerplay midway through the first period before Samuel Honzek tied the game for the Giants midway through the second period while shorthanded.
The Blazers responded on the powerplay two minutes later through Caedan Bankier before Logan Stankoven scored a shorthanded marker giving the Blazers a two goal cushion after 40 minutes of action.
Kaden Hammell then put the game to bed midway in the third period, his fourth of the season, as the Blazers avenged a 6-3 defeat in Vancouver from Oct. 23.
Dylan Ernst made 21 saves to take the win, while Jesper Vikman stopped 33 of the 37 shots he faced in a losing effort.
The Blazers head south to Portland for a game against the Winterhawks on Saturday, Nov. 19. Their next home game is Friday, Nov. 25 against the Moose Jaw Warriors.
