UPDATE – RCMP say foul play is not suspected after a woman’s body was pulled from the Thompson River this morning.
Mounties say the body was found around 9 a.m. Monday morning, Jan. 16, about 200 metres south of the Ashcroft Bridge.
“The body was recovered from the river with the help of Search and Rescue,” RCMP Staff Sgt. Kris Clark said in a statement.
“The Ashcroft RCMP continue to assist the BC Coroners Service with the investigation.”
