UPDATE 10:40 a.m. – A two hectare wildfire near Rivershore Golf course is now under control.
BC Wildfire Service spokesperson Taylor Wallace says the East of Lion’s Head wildfire is about 28 kilometres east of Kamloops.
“And we had fire personnel respond to it yesterday and we have eight personnel attending to it today,” Wallace said.
Wallace says the fire – which broke out around 5 p.m. Sunday afternoon – is suspected to be human caused.
