RCMP are asking for help in finding a Fort St. John man who said he was travelling to Kamloops.
They say the family of 27-year-old Jordan Dean Nande reported him as missing to Kamloops Mounties on April 1. Police say while Nande told his family that he was heading to Kamloops, there is no evidence that he made it to the city.
RCMP in Fort St John took over the investigation on April 3 as Nande had a court-imposed curfew in the Northern B.C. community, and was last seen by his probation officer in Fort St. John in March.
Nande is Indigenous, stands five-foot-10, weighs 154 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
“Jordan’s family last spoke with Jordan approximately 3 weeks ago when he stated that he was in Kamloops,” RCMP spokesperson Const. Chad Neustaeter said. “Jordan has ties to Fort St John, Fort Nelson, Williams Lake and potentially Kamloops.”
“The Fort St John RCMP continue to investigate and request the public’s assistance in locating Jordan in order to confirm his well being.”
People with information on Nande’s whereabouts are being told to call Fort St John RCMP at 250-787-8100 or Crime Stoppers. Information can also be submitted online.
