Cache Creek residents have been asked to fill up water jugs before tomorrow morning.
It is to ensure they have drinking water on hand while repairs are completed on a major water main that was exposed by flooding last week.
The village says work on the water main will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday May 12, with work expected to take roughly four hours to complete.
Water will be turned off while work is underway for all properties on Quartz Road, Old Cariboo Road, Todd Road and the Highway 97 corridor north of the culvert near Dairy Queen and Anies Pizza and Bakery.
The village will be on Stage 4 water restrictions while work is carried out, meaning municipal water cannot be used for things other than drinking, cooking, showering or bathing, and fighting fires.
