The City of Kamloops has officially unveiled the lineup for the 2023 edition of Music in the Park.
The free event been a summer staple in Kamloops since 1994, with food trucks also expected to be on site at Riverside Park.
All performances at the Rotary Bandshell in Riverside Park begin at 7 p.m., starting with the Canada Day show this Saturday that features Anita Hamilton, The Eh Team, and Serious Dogs.
“We are so grateful to have BCLC as a community partner to support this long-standing signature event,” Sean Smith, the City’s Events Supervisor, said.
“Both of our organizations take pride in being able to bring this family event to residents and tourists every year. It’s a platform to showcase local, regional, and national talent in an environment that celebrates community.”
Smith also says the Kamloops Food Bank will be on site for two special evenings – for the annual Midsummer Music Jam on July 19 and for the last performance of the summer on August 31.
While the artists for the Midsummer Music Jam have not yet been made public, the artists that will perform during RibFest have been announced.

Unlike year’s past, this year’s RibFest will see the vast majority of Riverside Park licensed for alcohol. Children will still be allowed into the fenced off sections as organizers say they want to maintain a family-friendly atmosphere.
All of the concerts are weather and air quality permitting, with Smith nothing the schedule is subject to change without notice.
