Kamloops RCMP are looking for video and witnesses after a home on the North Shore was broken into Wednesday afternoon.
Spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says a homeowner in the 300-block of Oak Road told police that someone had been in his house when he was away for a couple of hours.
“Based on the placement of items and things that were missing and left behind, it is suspected that someone entered the house while the homeowner was out and spent some time there before leaving,” Evelyn said.
Evelyn says the investigation is ongoing with the help from the RCMP’s Forensic Identification Unit.
People who witnessed the break in or those with information of video footage of the area are being told to contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-24857.
