The BC Wildfire Service says a small fire that broke out about two kilometres north of Anglemont is currently under control.
The Evelyn Creek fire, which was located on the north of side of Shuswap Lake, is estimated to be 0.3 hectares in size.
Elsewhere in the Shuswap, crews are working on a pair of new fires, the Annis FSR fire southwest of Sicamous near the Trans-Canada Highway, and the Cook Creek FSR fire southeast of Sicamous, between Salmon Arm and Mabel Lake.
Both of these new fires are believed to be lightning caused.
Elsewhere, the Bush Creek East fire burning east of Barriere is now estimated to be 310-hectares in size, while Lower East Adams Lake fire on the east side of Adams Lake is still listed as 60-hectares.
Those two lightning caused fires have been burning for over a week.
