UPDATE 8:30 p.m. – Lac Le Jeune has reopened after a nearly six-hour-long closure because of a crash near Stake Lake Friday afternoon.
Details about the crash remain unclear at this time, but reports are that it was between a motorcycle and a pickup truck, and that it happened around 2:30 p.m.
In an email to Radio NL, BC Emergency Health Services says it was called to the crash on Lac Le Jeune Road, south of Stake Lake at 2:32 p.m., Oct. 20.
“Three ambulances and a supervisor responded,” BC EHS spokesperson Bowen Osoko told Radio NL in an email. “Paramedics cared for and transported two patients to hospital in stable condition.”
