Kamloops RCMP are on the lookout for a helicopter part which was stolen from a vehicle that was parked downtown last week.
Mounties say they were called around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, after the back window of a work truck that was parked on the 600-block of Victoria Street was smashed.
“A pelican case with a helicopter part inside was stolen, that is likely of no use or value to whoever took it,” RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said.
“We are releasing an image of the items and encouraging anyone who has, or comes across them, to please call police right away.”
People with information related to this investigation, including security video or dash camera footage, are being told to reach out to the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-37744.
