Kamloops RCMP say two men and a woman were arrested after a standoff at a North Shore home early Friday morning, Nov. 3.
Police say they were called to a house on the 200-block of Larkspur Street around 6:35 a.m. Friday morning to reports that an injured man had been been assaulted and robbed.
Mounties say while the injured man taken to Royal Inland Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, they had reason to believe that several suspects were still inside the house.
“A police presence remained in the area following the arrest as officers worked to obtain, then execute a search warrant on the residence as part of the ongoing investigation,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said.
Evelyn also said all of the people involved in this incident were known to each other.
Two suspects were released with a court date and conditions, with Evelyn saying charges are expected to be laid.
“Anyone who witnessed or has information, including security video that may be related to this incident, is asked to contact police as soon as possible,” Evelyn said.
Those with information are being told to contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-39427.
