A new lottery fundraiser has been launched by the Kamloops Y.
Tickets are now available for the Y Winter Adventure Lottery and 50/50 – Million Dollar Jackpot.
Kamloops Y Spokesperson Bryce Herman says the top two prizes include fully paid for trip worth $7,000 between one of three destinations.
“There is Iceland there is Norway there is Belize. You start looking at all of those and let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to travel – toes in the sand, palm tree over my head swaying in the breeze.”
- Prize One: Trip to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand; or Fiji; or Bali and Ubud.
- Prize Two: Trip to Morocco or Iceland to Norway or Belize.
- Prize Three: $2,000 travel voucher with Expedia Cruises.
“The last one with Expedia Cruises, there will be $2,000 towards any one of the cruises or something else you may want to do.”
Herman says tickets for the Winter Adventure lottery can be purchased till January 16, noting there are 4,000 tickets available.
“The price point is different than any other one we had, only a $25 ticket and you can buy a value pack 3 for $50.”
Herman says they have also thrown in a $5,000 bonus early bird prize that will be done in December.
“Get in before the December 5, and you’re going to get in on a chance for $5,000 cash. We’re calling it holiday cash, and we’ll do that draw on December 16.”
As for the 50/50, Herman says it’ll go up to $1-Million, noting the winner could take home up to $500,000.
“For the 50/50, tickets are three for $25, eight for $50, or 20 for $100.”
