Kamloops RCMP are asking for help in identifying a suspect in an ongoing assault investigation.
Police say the man was at a restaurant on the 1700-block of the East Trans Canada Highway back on Sept. 21, when he allegedly became irate and assaulted an employee.
Mounties did not specify the restaurant, but they note the man left the area in a grey 2015 Ford pickup truck.
He’s described as a white man between the age of 50 and 60, standing six-feet tall.
Police say he had grey hair, a white beard, and had a full sleeve of tattoos on his right arm as well as tattoos on both calves. He also wore black framed glasses.
“So far, police have been unable to identify the suspect, and are releasing an image of him to the public in an attempt to further the investigation,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said.
People with information that could help identify the suspect are being told to contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-34420.
