Conner Radke scored his first career WHL goal, but the Kamloops Blazers were beaten 6-1 by the Victoria Royals Tuesday night.
The Royals scored five unanswered goals across three periods, before Radke’s marker ended the shutout bid midway through the third.
Nate Misskey and Reggie Newman scored first period goals for Victoria before Cole Reschny scored a goal in each period to complete a natural hat trick at the Save-On Foods Memorial Arena.
Logan Pickford rounded out the scoring for the Royals late in the period to give Victoria their second win of the season over the Blazers.

Dylan Ernst turned aside 20 saves on 26 shots in the losing effort, while Braden Holt made 29 saves on 30 shots to earn the win.
The Blazers drop to 6-14-3-2 on the season, last in the WHL, while the Royals improved to 14-10-0-2, to sit in second place in the B.C. Division, six points behind the Prince George Cougars.
The two teams will rematch in Victoria Wednesday night, before two games in Kamloops on Friday and Sunday.
Friday’s game is the Blazers teddy-bear toss night.
