Jesse Sanche made 29 saves on 31 shots as the Kamloops Blazers scored a pair of goals in the third period in a 3-2 come from behind win over the Victoria Royals Wednesday night.
The 17-year-old Sanche picked up his first career win in the process as the Blazers snapped a two-game losing streak with the second road win of the season.
Robin Sapousek struck first for the home team in the final minute of the first period, but Ashton Ferster responded just 29 seconds later.
The veteran forward’s fourth goal of the season came with less than 10 seconds to play in the opening period at the Save-On Foods Memorial Arena.

Cole Reschny restored the Royals lead with his fourth goal in two nights midway through the third period before the Blazers responded.
First it was Conner Radke who tied things up about two minutes later when he banked a shot off the foot of Royals’ defenceman Hudson Bjornson into the net.

The Blazers improve to 7-14-3-2 on the season while the Royals drop to 14-11-0-2, good for second in the B.C. Division, six points behind the Prince George Cougars.
The two teams will travel to Kamloops for a pair of games at Sandman Centre Friday night and Sunday afternoon.
It’s the Blazers last home games until after the Christmas break as the team will begin its Eastern Division road-trip the following weekend.
