Washroom facility at Rae-Mor Park in Rayleigh/via Google Street View
Kamloops Mounties are looking for witnesses and information after a Rayleigh park washroom was badly damaged last week.
RCMP discovered several toilets found smashed at Rae Mor Park on Wednesday, July 24th.
Rae-Mor Park is home to a ball diamond, a tennis court and a skateboard park.
The Kamloops Cricket Club is in the same area as well.
“The washroom is usually locked at night, but unfortunately, it was somehow unsecured and someone took the opportunity to damage it significantly, rendering it unusable for the time being,” said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP Detachment spokesperson. “It’s very unfortunately for the users of the park and its community, and we are hopeful someone will have information to help further the investigation.”
The RCMP believe the vandalism would have taken place sometime between Sunday, July 21st, and Tuesday, the 23rd.
Anyone who witnessed, recorded video, or has information that may be related to this incident, is asked to please phone the Kamloops RCMP Detachment.
