Kamloops RCMP are looking for information related to a break and enter at an apartment, that occurred while someone was home.

Around 9:00 Wednesday night, police were called to the 1100-block of Hugh Allan Drive.

A resident heard a noise, went to investigate, and discovered their front door was open.

A person described as a man with darker skin and black hair was seen running away from the residence.

He was wearing jeans and a light-coloured shirt.

Corporal Crystal Evelyn says the suspect may have gained entry through a window and was last seen running through a narrow concrete balcony leading to a parking lot. “The incident is believed to have occurred about 30 to 45 minutes before police were called.”
