The BIG Little Science Centre Society is getting $50,000 thanks to a donation from an anonymous benefactor.
This substantial contribution is aimed at bolstering the Centre’s core operations, including ongoing activities, building lease, maintenance, and essential programs.
“This generous donor has shown unwavering commitment over the years, with their total donations now reaching an impressive $325,000,” says Executive Director Gord Stewart. “Such extraordinary support from our local community is the lifeblood of the BIG Little Science Centre.”
Stewart say they depend entirely on grants, donations, and entry fees to run the operation. “The steadfast backing from individuals, corporations, and organizations in the Kamloops Thompson region has been nothing short of phenomenal.”
“It is this collective effort that empowers us to continue delivering hands-on, interactive science experiences to our community and beyond, sustaining our mission for nearly 25 years.”
