The Canadian Pacific Kansas City Holiday Train will roll into B.C. Dec. 16 with 16 shows scheduled over five days.
The Kamloops stop will occur on Wednesday next week and feature a half-hour live concert by Magic! and Sofia Camara.
Spokesperson Terry Cunha says people are always excited to take in the annual tradition. “Great way to kick off the holiday season, and it’s an opportunity to engage your friends, your family, your colleagues, at a very family friendly event, while listening to some fantastic musicians sing some amazing songs, both some of their originals and some Christmas sets. and just great way to get out and celebrate the holiday season.”
“The train is a fully lit up decorated CKPC train that rolls into your community, fully lit up with Christmas lights and decorations. And then when it stops, one of our stage doors opens, and at that time, our musicians come out and put on a live musical performance for 30 minutes.”
Cunha suggests arriving a bit early to try and navigate the added traffic that comes with the show so that you don’t miss any of the 30 minute concert and adds to please bring a donation for the food bank. “All that we ask is individuals who come out to each one of our free shows just to bring a non perishable food item that will be donated to the local organization at each one of our stops to support those individuals who just could use a helping hand during this holiday season.”
