
A warning from Interior Health that a counterfeit (fake) tablet sold as Percocet is being sold in Kamloops.
“It does not contain oxycodone,” IH said in a release. “It contains an unknown amount of fentanyl. Using illicit tablets is not recommended due to the very high risk of overdose. Be aware of risk of fakes, if not purchasing from a pharmacy.”
The drug warning will be in effect until at least Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
