Kamloops Mounties have managed to obtain new photos, which they’re putting out today, to try to get some new information on an incident back in March which saw a teenager suffer serious injuries.
The photos are of two suspects who could be connected to the situation, which took place around 9:30 in the evening of March 13th in the 700-block of Tranquille Road.
That’s the area around the Northills Mall and the Transit Exchange.
Two groups of young men were involved in some sort of dust-up or altercation.
When one group left, someone in the other group apparently threw something at their vehicle, seriously injuring one of those inside the Volkswagen.
That young man required emergency surgery, after their friends took him to hospital on their own a while later.
“Since then, the investigation has been progressing and police have obtained two suspect images to release to the public,” said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP Detachment spokesperson. “We are releasing the images to the public with the hope that someone will be able to identify them.”
RCMP say the victim is “recovering.”
