The 2025 edition of the Kamloops Blazers Development Camp has been putting together some exciting action as the would-be WHL’ers try to impress the Blazers brass for a shot at making this coming season’s team.
“It’s been good so far to get all the kids in town here,” said Aaron Keller, Director of Player Personnel for the Blazers. “Lots of excitement from them. Getting to meet their parents and stuff. Introducing them, obviously, to the Blazers’ organization and the city. It’s been really good so far.”
This year’s Development Camp features 28 players the Blazers have picked up through the Bantam Draft the past two years.
The 15 and 16-year-olds come from various communities across Western Canada, including Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia, as well as from California.

The Camp continues through Sunday, with an opportunity for fans to take in an open session at Brock Arena at 9am.
