Kamloops RCMP have released the name of a homicide victim from last year, as they continue to investigate the deadly shooting.

Keenan James Robertson was found dead in a motel room on the 2500-block of the Trans Canada Highway East just after midnight on May 31st, 2024.

“As the Kamloops RCMP Serious Crime Unit work persistently on this file , they are hopeful that by sharing the name of the victim they will be able to further the investigation,” said Corporal Dana Napier, Kamloops RCMP Detachment spokesperson

The RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit is leading the investigation.
