A Kamloops man has been charged in connection with a sexual assault investigation, and police are appealing to the public for any additional information that may assist in the case.
Kamloops RCMP confirmed that 27-year-old Dorian Michael Ilett, who may also go by the name Dorian Pentney, was arrested in late May following allegations received earlier that month. He now faces multiple charges, including sexual assault, uttering threats, and two counts of criminal harassment.
Ilett remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
“There may be people in our community who have additional information which could assist in advancing the investigation,” said Corporal Dana Napier, spokesperson for the Kamloops RCMP. “We are asking anyone who thinks they might know something to please contact the detachment as soon as possible.”
Investigators are urging anyone with relevant information to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000, referencing file numbers 2025-15933 and 2025-13577.
Police have not released further details due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.
