
Kamloops RCMP are seeking public assistance to identify a man involved in a recent chainsaw theft.
On Thursday, July 17, around 2:20 p.m., officers responded to a report of a stolen Ryobi chainsaw valued at approximately $700 on the 1000 block of Hillside Drive.
In the course of their investigation, police obtained an image of the suspect and have now made it public, hoping someone may recognize the individual.
“As part of the investigation, police obtained an image of the suspect and are releasing it to the public in hopes that someone can make an identification,” said Corporal Dana Napier, spokesperson for Kamloops RCMP.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect, the stolen chainsaw, or related details is urged to contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file number 2025-22984.
