Kamloops RCMP have confirmed investigations into three separate deaths in Kamloops on the roads and in the water in the region — including two incidents involving motorcycles.
In one of the deaths, an 18-year-old was killed late Saturday afternoon at around 5:30pm while driving a motorcycle along Barnhartvale Road near the Robbins Range Road turnoff.
Circumstances surrounding the crash are not clear at this point.
However, RCMP say it was a single-vehicle incident, suggesting the driver may have somehow lost control on their own.
The identity of the teenager has not been publicly revealed, with RCMP traffic services taking control of that investigation.

This one too is being described as a single-vehicle crash by the RCMP, with the location near the Timber Lake Forest Service Road, which is about 20 kilometers south of Kamloops.

It’s not clear what may have led to the crash, which took the life of the lone 60-year-old rider.
That portion of the Coquihalla in between Inks Lake and Lac Le Jeune is a relatively straight stretch of roadway.
The crash would have taken place during the twilight hours where visibility while driving can sometimes become challenging.
The incident tied up southbound traffic headed out of Kamloops for around 4 hours, according to reports on social media.
Meanwhile, earlier in the day, Tk’emlups RCMP were also called out to a drowning in Tobiano.
Mounties aren’t able to provide a lot of detail at this point, saying only that next of kin are still in the process of being identified.
It’s not clear if the drowning took place in Kamloops Lake, or whether the person may have drowned in a different body of water within Tobiano itself.
No word on the age of the victim, or whether or not they were local.
