Kamloops RCMP have released an image of a person of interest as they continue to investigate a suspicious incident in the city’s university district earlier this month.
Police say the individual was seen peering into the window of a home in the 1000-block of University Drive around 1:00 a.m. on October 7. It’s one of at least three similar reports in the area, prompting RCMP to appeal to the public for assistance in identifying the man.
“Our General Investigation Services Team, and Forensic Identification Services, have been investigating this occurrence,” said Corporal Dana Napier, spokesperson for the Kamloops RCMP. “We are working with our community partners to enhance safety in the area.”
While no charges have been laid, police say part of the ongoing investigation is to determine whether any potential charges may apply.
Anyone who recognizes the individual or has information related to the incident is urged to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000, referencing file number 2025-33496.
