Kamloops RCMP are investigating after two teenagers were struck by a vehicle Thursday morning near Norkam Secondary School on the North Shore.
Police say the incident happened around 8:30 a.m. as the students were crossing Kenora Street after getting off a city bus. According to Corporal Dana Napier, spokesperson for the Kamloops RCMP, the teens walked behind the bus and were hit by a passing vehicle.
Both students were taken to hospital by BC Ambulance with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has dash camera footage from the area to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000, referencing file number 2025-37094.
