Olympic gold medallist and snowboarding innovator Sebastien Toutant has touched down at Sun Peaks Resort to unveil Obstacle Course Deux, his latest high-concept freestyle project blending snowboarding, parkour, and creative course design into one jaw-dropping ride.
Building on the viral momentum of his at-home parkour clips and his first snow obstacle course in Quebec, Toutant has taken the idea to new heights for this second installment—this time carving an uninterrupted, top-to-bottom run through a custom-built course at Sun Peaks. The concept pushes the boundaries of what’s possible on a snowboard, combining precision, freestyle flow, and multi-sport inspiration.
Sun Peaks officials confirmed the project was filmed in the spring of 2025, after the resort had closed for the season, allowing Toutant and his team full creative freedom to build and run the course without public traffic.
The entire run is filmed in one continuous shot—no cuts, no do-overs—showcasing both Toutant’s elite control and the intricate, playful features crafted into the course.
“Obstacle Course Deux” also marks a major moment for Red Bull Snow, which continues to push action-sports creativity with original series and some of the most-watched skiing and snowboarding clips on YouTube. The project promises an all-time “stoke factor” for fans looking for something fresh in the world of winter sports.
The full run is expected to drop online soon, giving viewers a front-row look at Sun Peaks’ terrain reimagined through Toutant’s trademark style and technical flair.
