Radio NL and Rivershore Golf Links have teamed up to award Blazers Captain Ryan Michael as the Hardest Working Blazer for the month of November.
The four-year Blazer will graduate at the end of this season. He will reach the 200 game milestone early in the New Year. The native of Langley is logging big minutes on the blue line and is also having a career year offensively. He’s recorded three goals and 16 assists for 19 points in 29 games. That ranks him T-16th in the WHL.
Michael has consistently averaged over 25 minutes of ice-time this season while playing in all situations including powerplay and penalty kill.
“I try to work hard every night, so it’s nice to be recognized for that,” Micheal commented before Saturday’s game in Penticton.
The Blazers have won six of their last eight games as they head to Prince George this weekend for two games this Friday & Saturday.
